Hey-Howdy-Hey. everyone!

So, this is the first new journal of 2017, and, as the title says, I'd like to ask the following question;

Suppose I finally get off my lazy ass and actually WORK on, and complete, my comic/webcomic idea(s) and someone wants to adapt the property to either a movie, TV series/ cartoon, or webseries. Which one should I go with? For that matter, WHO should be allowed to try and adapt said property?

And now, the stuff;

Here be the presents I got over Chirstmas;

A wolf apron.

Another Edgar Allen Poe book.

Amazing Fantastic Incredible! Stan Lee, aka Stan Lee's Comic book memoir.

A Hammer Horror DVD set.

And last, but most certainly NOT least,.... A WACOM tablet! Yep, I finally got one, and am trying to learn how to use it!

So that's it, and hopefully I will master the WACOM so that journals aren't the only things that get updated on here!

Hey-Howdy-Hey, Wreckers and Wreckettes!

I'm writing this journal because I want some answers as to a question that's been bothering me the last two months or so. Namely;

Just what was so great about our childhoods in the first place?

Don't get me wrong, there WERE some good parts to my childhood, but overall, it was pretty crappy. I was actually THANKFUL once 10th grade started.

But more and more, when it comes to things like Hollywood reboots and sequels and such, I'm seeing more and more people yelling "THEY'RE RUINING MY CHILDHOOD!" "THIS ISN'T MY X!" "THINGS WERE BETTER IN OUR DAY!" etc. And more and more I'm left wondering "were your childhoods REALLY that great, that EVERYTHING you grew up with must be defended like it's the Ark of the Covenant, the Holy Grail AND the biggest mother-lode of gold ever"? Weren't most of us bullied and ridiculed throughout most of our childhood and adolescent years, and if so, why would we ever want to remember THAT? I mean, that's a bit like looking at witchburning and thinking it was a campfire with roasted marshmallows!

So could someone please tell me why this is such a thing? And for that matter, what's wrong with letting the kids of today grow up with some of our stuff?

Hey-Howdy-Hey, wreckers and wreckettes!

So, I went and saw the Ghostbusters reboot and I.....

ENJOYED IT! I ENJOYED THE LIVING HELL OUT OF IT!!!!

I mean, this is the first time in a LONG time I've come out of a movie theater FEELING LIKE A LITTLE KID AGAIN! When's the last time a movie ever did THAT for anyone?

And :icondemitrivladmaximov:, you wanted my honest opinion? There it is my friend! I loved it! The haters were "dead" wrong about the film, and they're only doing themselves a mischief by not seeing it! (of course, if you want something a bit more comprehensive, just comment back and I'll do my best!).

BUT.....I will add that, despite my glowing review, movies, and comedy movies in particular, are always subjective. Just because I love the film doesn't mean everyone else is, which I think is a damn shame, but that's just the Human condition. I can only hope that this journal will help to make up your mind.

As for me, Imma scarf down some twinkies and drink me some ecto-cooler!

Hey-Howdy-Hey, Wreckers and Wreckettes!

Normally, I don't do these kinds of things because they're....well, they're goofy, and I feel that, for the most part, journals should be about something important, or about art, or about important art.

However, this little meme I couldn't resist doing, especially since it will give you a better idea of who I am.

So without further ado;

Send me a fandom and I will tell you...

Hey-Howdy-Hey, Wreckers and Wreckettes!

I'm writing this journal because I have been currently getting a lot of faves for the JonXHsien-Ko drawings in my gallery. "But isn't that a good thing?" you ask? To an extent it is. Yes, I had those commissioned, and yes they are in my gallery, but the problem I'm having is that people are faving these works of art BUT NOT COMPLEMENTING THE PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY DREW THEM. So, I am writing this journal to warn/tell potential favers;

You can fave the drawings, but remember that I DID NOT DRAW THEM, THEY DID, SO LEAVE THE COMPLIMENTS ON THE ORIGINAL ARTISITS PAGE. THAT WOULD BE :iconandrewdickman: AND :iconaxel-rosered:!!!!

AGAIN THATS

:iconandrewdickman:

:iconaxel-rosered:

THOSE ARE THE PEOPLE WHO DREW THEM. I MAY HAVE COMMISSIONED THEM, BUT I WILL GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE.

THANK YOU.

Hey-Howdy-Hey, Wreckers and Wreckettes!

I was watching the Avengers 2 trailer (and yet AGAIN failing to keep my Lenten promise. I SO CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS LENT TO BE OVER! XP), and a most wonderful idea hit my brain.

Another live action Mario Bros. movie....but with ROBERT DOWNEY JUNIOR AND CHRIS EVANS AS MARIO AND LUIGI. AND BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH AS BOWSER. AND ANDY SERKIS MO-CAPING YOSHI.

DIRECTED BY PETER JACKSON.

Hey-Howdy-Hey, Everyone!

I'm writing this journal because something is bugging me, namely about the Universal Monster reboots and the reaction the fandom has. Now on the one hand I agree that they shouldn't be action-adventure films, but I do like the fact that they are going to put them in our modern day world. To elaborate further, I've felt for a few years now that the UM films simply need to be updated, since they actually took place in years/decades they were filmed in. But a lot of UM fans feel that they need to be dark period pieces, which I have felt could actually hurt their chances at connecting with a modern audience.

So my question is, why do so many fans want the monsters to be period horror pieces rather than be modern horror pieces? What am I missing or misunderstanding from the fandoms point of view? Please answer if you can, and make it as elaborate and well thought out as possible!

Hey-Howdy-Hey, wreckers and wreckettes!

I've got some news for you!

This coming monday, I'll be heading to a dorm at a new school. This normally wouldn't be so significant but for the fact that I won't have an internet connection for the first six months or so. In fact, for this first month I won't even have a computer! So, barring Thanksgiving and Christmas (the few times that I'll be near a computer with an internet connection), I won't be replying or posting until I get this school done.

Till then, see ya around.

Hey-Howdy-Hey,wreckers and wreckettes!

All right, I normally never do these things, but since :iconkilljoysg: asked so nicely, I'll do this.

RULES :
1. You must post these rules.
2. Answer the questions the tagger set for you, and create new questions for the people you tag to answer.
3. You have to choose 10 people to tag and post their icons on your journal
4. Go to their pages and tell them you have tagged her/him.
5. No tag backs.

Questions to answer(me);

1. Favorite videogame?
2. Love doing Fan Art or Original Art? *have to be one*
3. If you could direct or reboot a movie, what would that movie be?
4.  Best time or score in a video game?
5. Your favorite book? *any media really*
6. Your mode of travel?
7. What would you do for a Klondike Bar?
8. What fictional character you would enjoy working alongside?
9. If you were a villain/super villain/villainness, what would be your name?
10. Would you sing Kareoke to save a friend's life held at gun point?

Answers:

1. Toss up between Darkstalkers and Castlevania.
2. I usually do original stuff.
3. Hoo-boy, better sit down, this is gonna be a long one. Since one of my goals in life is to become a director, the following films are what I consider to be my ideal projects; Darkstalkers (natch), Castlevania, Street Fighter, Sonic the Hedgehog, Super Mario Bros., Pokemon, My Life as a Teenage Robot (to be honest, I'd rather leave this one to Mr. Renzetti (sic)), Invader Zim, Dilbert (they're already planning on doing this), Superman, Usagi Yojimbo, Asterix and Obelix and most of the Universal Monster films, starting with the Wolf Man.
4. On Darkstalkers Chronicles: The Chaos Tower, my high score is 1144700.
5. Hmm, a tough one, as I do enjoy reading. I like the classics of literature, and as for comics, my all time favorite is Hellboy.
6. At the moment, on foot, bus or car.
7. Nothing. I'd just go to a store and buy one.
8. I'd love to work alongside the X-Men (Beast in particular), Superman, the BPRD, and yes, Jon Talbain.
9. I don't know, since I prefer to be on the side of Angels (i.e. the good guys side).
10. You'd better believe it.

OK, now I suppose I can answer :iconkilljoysg:'s questions;

1) If you were stuck on a remote island for 2 months with another person, who would you wish NOT to be saddled with?
2) What would you do for a dollar?
3) If you had to get a tattoo on your ass, what would it be?
4) The world is ending soon, and you have only one chance to watch a movie you had watched before in your life......what movie would it be?
5) You sprouted wings! What would be the first thing you would do?
6) If you had the chance to re-envision a character from anywhere....who would you choose and what would you change?
7) What type of dance will you learn? *HUGE CATCH; you will have to perform it in front of the crowd at the FIFA World Cup once mastered (compulsory)*
8) Which character from any series (game/anime/show) do you think you look like?
9) If you had the power to make a series dimension/world come to life (games/shows/comics....you name it!), which would you choose?
10) Justin Bieber hands you a loaded revolver and smiles, what would you do? (Got bored here)

Answers:
1. I have no idea. Probably the Mystery Inc. Gang ( I LOATHE Scooby Doo).
2. Nothing.
3. I don't think I'd get a tattoo on my ass. My back, yes, but not my ass.
4. The Wolf Man (1941).
5. Fly to the comic book store!
6. Hmmm, a tough one....probably Nightcrawler. Believe it or not, before either Daken or Azazel, my idea for Nightcrawler's parentage would've been that he was the SON of Wolverine and Mystique, and he would've gone through a secondary mutation where he became more muscular and developed claws that came out of his hands.
7. Nice try, but I'm not telling you. I don't have the cash to make it to any FIFA game, so no dance for you!
8. When I don't shave, I pretty much look like The Wolf Man. Shaved, I look, for some reason, like either Wolverine or the Beast. I also look like the Penguin from Batman.
9. Hooo-doggy, another tough one! Darkstalkers comes to mind, but I'd also like to see the X-Men, Hellboy or any of the Universal Monster films come to life.
10. Take out the bullets and toss away the revolver. Or sell it on e-bay.

My questions;
1. How would you like to see a Darkstalkers film made?
2. What are your views on JonTalbainXHsien-Ko?
3. Heck, let's cut-out the bullcrap; Do you like JonTalbainXHsien-Ko?
4. What do you think of the Universal Monsters?
5. If you could have any mutant power, what would it be?
6. What's your favorite monster?
7. You suddenly have all the powers of Superman, what will you do?
8. In the battle against evil, what sort of weapon would you wield? ( can be any make from any era).
9. If you could live in a holiday-themed world, what would it be?
10. What would you say if you met Hellboy?

I guess I'll tag: :iconharry19th:,:iconcrystalgem523:,:iconthreecats-ina-cellar:,:iconthestinkyfoot:,:iconlight-triforce:, :iconhell-chicken:,:iconetherealopolis:,:iconrcwikkydartist:,:iconfelifan: and :iconbonnybanshey: And to all these people before hand; I'm sorry. I'm so VERY Sorry.

Hey-Howdy-Hey!

Wanna know how you can get your fandom to have nice things? Look no further than :iconkilljoysg:! He's not only been trying to garner support for my (currently fan-but-will-one-day-become-real) Darkstalkers movie and movie script, but also is more than willing to accept and tolerate darkstalker ships different from his own, including mine!

If fandoms had more people like him, the internet would be a wonderful place! So show him some love and give him a great big thank you, what's up, fave his stuff or any combo there of!

PEACE!

In other words, I will do requests again!

"Why TWC, what's with all the hypocrisy?"  you may ask? :iconninshinobi: drew my request for a JonXHsien-Ko pic (it's in my favorites, in case anyone's curious), and should he ever ask me to do the same, well it would be downright rude of me not to fulfill his request as well.

In short, I'll do requests again, but please keep the number of said drawings to a minimum (like one or two for preference), and you have :iconninshinobi: to thank for this, so send all words of gratitude and thanks his way via his page!

Still never doing commissions though.

Hi everyone.

I'm writing this new journal to say that, not only will I never do any commisions for anyone (as I would never be crazy or greedy enough to expect people to pay good, honest money for ANY "drawing" of mine), but I will no longer be doing requests, either. After finishing :icondemitrivladmaximov:'s request, I've come to the realization that if I take too long in doing a request and, due to my "skill", STILL can't produce a quality work for someone who helped me out, then I'm better off never taking another request, or, lets be honest here, DRAWING, ever again.

So no requests from now on. I may change this in the future if I feel my drawings, indeed my skills, are of "quality", i.e. they actually look GREAT and are worthy of some peoples time. But until that time, don't ask, because until I am able to produce quality works in a reasonable time table (say, a week), no requests or commissions.

Hey-Howdy-Hey, Wreckers and Wreckettes!

Once I get :icondemitrivladmaximov:'s and few other drawings done I'm going to start on... (wait for it).... TRANSFORMERS!

For those wondering who's who, just read this handy-dandy list o' characters!

Grumble: Ford Raptor
Shindig: Firebird Trans-Am
Roadslayer: Road Roller

Blacktop: Backhoe
Siftor: Scraper Truck
Hightop: Crane
Flashstrike: F-33
Linebreaker: Tow Truck
Stickshift: 70's muscle car

But what are the Autobots without Decepticons?

Whiplash:Excavator

Windblast: Jet
Runoff: Tanker
Gripper: gripping excavator
Lowdown: low rider
Downtrod: Humvee
Flashbang: Jet
Flog: Modified M1-A1

Yeah, I just made this list to get the names out of the way, but I will start working on them when I have the time. And to those who think I stole their character's name, chill. I didn't even know your character existed, so no harm, no foul.

Other than that, what do you guys think?
